Cape Town Social Program - UCTLanguageCentre.com

Weekly Activities for ELC Students

Our Social Programme is the perfect way to meet fellow students, explore Cape Town, and practice English in a relaxed setting. Led by our teachers, these regular outings help you feel at home in the city while having fun with new friends.

Each week, we organise a range of low-cost activities that are accessible to all students. Join us for scenic hikes, group meals, local sports events, and cultural outings. Whether you’re enjoying a casual picnic, watching a rugby match, or visiting a weekend market, our Social Programme makes it easy to experience the best of Cape Town.

More than just sightseeing, these activities help you build confidence in speaking English naturally. With the guidance of our teachers, you’ll practice language skills in real-world settings while forming friendships that last beyond your time at ELC.
