Language Excursions are out-of-classroom communication classes, where your teacher becomes your language guide.

Private Lessons Fees 

Students who have specific language learning requirements may choose to have one-to-one lessons with a teacher.  The lessons can be scheduled to fit your timetable, and can be combined with other courses.  Private Lessons may suit students in full time work or academic study.

Pay in instalments

To make our courses more affordable, ELC offers instalment plans for courses of more than 12 weeks. The following instalment plans are available:

  • Payment every 4 weeks: Course duration of 12, 16, 20 or 24 weeks
  • Payment every 12 weeks: Course duration of 24, 36 or 48 weeks
  • Registration Fee: R 850
  • Students┬ácan start┬áa course on any Monday and study for any number of weeks.
  • The UCT English Language Centre will be closed on all South African public holidays.
