We we have various measures in place to prevent transmission of COVID-19. In South Africa everyone must wear a mask in public all the time, so students and teachers wear masks in the classroom (and we’ll give you a mask if you don’t have one). We have reduced class sizes by 50% to allow for social distancing, and everyone in the class stays 1.5 metres apart. All the classrooms have windows which are kept open to make sure there is enough ventilation. We provide all students with their own bottles of hand sanitizer and there are sanitizing station around the school. South Africans take COVID-19 very seriously and everyone follows the rules.
