Trips and Activities
Cape Town is full of great places to see and things to do. So not only do we have expert teachers teaching English, we also have a dedicated Social Programme Coordinator, who schedules a number of trips and activities every week – some of the most popular are listed below. Each week, the Social Programme Coordinator puts the scheduled activities up on the social programme board where students can sign up to attend. If students have ideas, or if there is anything they think we should be doing and places we should be going, we encourage them to talk to us and let us know so we can make sure they make the most of their stay in Cape Town.
What we try to include in the weekly/monthly social programme:
Something sporty (hiking, swimming, soccer/football, beach soccer, etc.)
Something free (First Thursdays, park concerts, markets, going to the beach together, street festivals, etc.)
Something cheap (museums, dinner, cycling, theatre, movies, go karting, etc.)
Something touristy (Table Mountain, The Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Gardens, Robben Island, Red Bus City Tour, etc.)
Something special (clubbing, boat cruises, wine tours, beer tours, food tours, international concerts/music, ice skating, surfing, sandboarding, 4×4 riding, horse riding, etc.)
