I’m Francesca…in January I left my job in Italy so I decided to take a break with my old life.

 In a few days I bought a flight to Cape Town … my idea was travelling in a new country and in the same time to improve my English. I could not have made a better choice.

I found a wonderful city with a lot of opportunities to spend your free time,  an awesome nature in its heart and very lovely (everyone wants to help you), cool and international people . You can never be bored in CT, it’s so close to amazing places that you can have new experiences every days.

A city where you can feel strongly a good vibration and energy, and its desire to develop and do something new, really a good mix of European and African style.

I chose to attend my English course at the ELC of the UCT, where I found a very international atmosphere and I met many of my closest friends. We spend a lot of time together studying but also enjoying in new activities (surfing, hiking, beaches, mountains, hills, food markets, events, tours…)

I found a very interesting and serious course, and I was very happy about the well trained and experienced teachers, able to involve me in the lessons choosing topical issues and modern and dynamic methods of teaching.

I had not given much thought before departure and destination, it has been a spontaneous choice, but nothing has disappointed me in these 3 months, everything has been an exciting surprise. It looked like if what you want something, it can happen in CT.

In Cape Town I was able to travel, meet new friends, study, share new experience, try new sports, enjoy in every situation, rediscover myself and my astonishment… a wonderful start to the new chapter of my life!
